We had great fun at the Highland Show and there was a large contingent down from Newtonmore. Ruaridh had three ponies down, 3 year old colt Arisaig Luchag Mhor of Creag Dhubh, 3 year old filly Alice of Caimbe, shown in partnership with Gillian Macrae and 4 year old gelding Zeno of Croila, shown by Barbara McVean from Thornhill. Ruaridh's dad had two ponies there shown ably by Lucy Riddell from Chesthill Estate in Glen Lyon near Aberfeldy, Yeld Mare Yokel of Croila and of course everybody's favourite 3 year old filly Baby Bell (Annabelle of Croila). Congratulations go to Sandy Macarthur of Newtonmore and Contin on winning the senior stallion class with the black stallion bred by Cameron called Xylophone of Croila.
